This princess seam denim dress was the final project for a Draping class at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). The assignment included an original design draped on a dressform, creating a paper pattern and constructing the final garment.

The garment consists of 55 pattern pieces and the design encompasses symmetrical curves that start from the neckline and curve to the back. The same curves are reflected in the bottom half of the dress. The sleeves have a bright blue lining with a small side zipper.
